Facebook

Yeah, I'm a nerd, I'm on Facebook a lot.  As I was browsing around, I realized there are several groups for migraines and nerve stimulators in general, but none specifically dedicated to occipital nerve stimulation.  I've found these groups to be great sources of information and a great way for people to communicate.  Blogs are good too but they are obviously rather one-sided.  So please consider joining the group.  Sometimes the discussions are a little slow to get going but feel free to invite friends or anyone you know who may be interested.

Here is the link to the group:

Hope to see you there!

  1. Hi
I'm probably posting this in the wrong place so apologies but can you tell me how long it took after you had the ONS implanted before you noticed any relief? My mum had here implanted about 6 weeks ago and it's left on all the time at a low level but she's has no relief yet. She suffers from a 24/7 chronic migraine and is never without pain and has had this now for about 30 years. She's been told by pain specialist nurse that she has to give the ONS at least 6 months to work. She's desperate for it to work and it works be good to know how quick it worked for others. Thanks.
